Radial-Delta Construction
The new Pilot® series of high-performance tires features Michelin’s exclusive, patented radial-delta construction. Radial-delta revolutionizes rear-tire construction by combining the best attributes of both street and racing tires.

This ultimate supersport tire brings Michelin® Grand Prix technology to serious sport riders, for uncompromising performance on backroads or at track days.

• Embodies technology that has helped Michelin riders win 16 of the last 17 Moto Grand Prix world championships, and the last eight World Superbike titles.

• Patented radial delta construction in the rear Pilot® Race H2 adapts world championship-winning Michelin racing technology to a street-legal tire.

• Advanced tread compound reaches operating temperature quickly to maintain consistent performance.

• Radical semi-slick tread pattern maximizes the contact patch, especially at full lean, and results in improved wear characteristics relative to the original Pilot® Race. Front tread depth is 4mm; rear tread depth is 5mm.

• Front profile based on the Michelin® Pilot® front slick used by 2001 World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss. The new, more triangular front profile promotes responsiveness, quick turn-in and sensitive front-end feedback

• "The rear tire has incredible traction at all lean angles and drives off the corner like a racing slick ... traction and traction feedback are a notch above the other tires ... over 1.5 seconds faster than any other tire." -Sport Rider magazine tire test, June 2002

• Official tire of Freddie Spencer's High Performance Riding School
